We were all rather travel weary by the time we left India on the plane to Holland and most of the team slept or dozed for most of the flight. We were all happy to arrive in Holland where we were looking forward to a quick transfer and a short flight back to Manchester. Unfortunately, the aircraft had some problems and we were delayed for 2 hours, one in the terminal and one on the aircraft. Meanwhile back in the UK our driver was also faced with a long wait. We were all pleased to see him when we emerged from the terminal, safe and at least some of sound mind, glad to be back home. All that was left for us to do was sort out all the borrowed kit and write the report. What an adventure! The whole experience was challenging, inspiring and personally rewarding for everyone and I am sure that some will be looking to plan more adventures with new teams.
