This Himalayan State has an elevation ranging from 300m to 8585m above sea level. It's Geography is dominated by the most majestic mountain chain in the world which includes Kangchenjunga, the world's third highest mountain.
Sikkim's richness is awe-inspiring, boasting more than 4000 species of plants, including 600 varieties of orchids, whilst the higher altitudes are abloom with a carpet of rhododendrons.
Sikkim is a landlocked Indian state nestled in the Himalayas. It borders Nepal in the west, Tibet to the north and east, Bhutan in the south-east and West Bengal to its south. Gangtok is the capital and largest town.
