The romantic beauty of the landscape was almost beyond belief. Looking out of the windows...on the snows of Kanchenjunga, I felt a worn-out mountaineer might be well content to spend the end of his days in Gangtok. D W Freshfield 1899

Our treks took us towards Kanchenjunga via the Singalila Ridge and the Goecha La. We stayed in tea-houses on the Singalila Trek and in tents for the Goecha La Trek. We were supported by guides, horse and dzo men and cook teams, all from Marcopolo World Travels.
