Sikkim is a landlocked Indian state nestled in the Himalayas. It borders Nepal in the west, Tibet to the north and east, Bhutan in the south-east and West Bengal to its south.
Sikkim is divided into 4 regions; North, South, East and West. We spent time in West and East Sikkim as well as Darjeeling in West Bengal.
The Singalila ridge took us over the border into Nepal. Kangchenjunga rests on the Nepalese border near the Goecha La.
