The team had been preparing for a trip to Nepal with Gorkha Treks UK for a considerable amount of time. Unfortunately, due to the increase in the Maoist threat, we were unable to continue with this plan. Simon and Rich worked extremely hard to rapidly re-plan to avoid cancelling the trip altogether and our thanks go to Tom from Gorkha Treks UK for changing all of the bookings for us at short notice. We were very glad to still be going to the Himalaya and a large amount of organising took place by all members of the team in preparation.
